PetsGetAllergies is an independent, unbranded platform created by StallergenesGreer, a company specializing in allergy solutions. The goal of this site is to raise awareness about a specific niche—pet allergies—by educating both veterinarians and pet owners. To achieve this, the site was designed stand apart from their corporate identity, allowing it to exist as a standalone educational resource.
The design uses a vibrant color palette to inject energy and playfulness into the user experience, while neutral beige tones are introduced to provide balance and enhance readability. Bold, wild textures echo the theme of pets and bring a dynamic feel to the design, while curved elements contribute to a soft, clean, and modern aesthetic.
One particularly unique feature is the first call-to-action on the header, which includes a sound effect of a pet scratching accompanied by the jingling of a collar—a familiar auditory cue for users, hinting at one of the common signs of pet allergies. This engaging detail adds an interactive and memorable touch to the experience.
